Camarati) Aleš Hemský (born August 13, 1983) is a Czech professional ice hockey forward and alternate captain currently playing for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Hemský entered pro hockey as a 16-year-old, playing for HC Moeller Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga, in his hometown of Pardubice.
Hemsky then added his third, casually flipping the puck over Lindback on a breakaway. That was as close as the Predators would come, however, as Dubnyk turned aside 18 shots in the period.
“I was a little nervous when I was going in there,” Hemsky said. Gagner sealed the contest with an empty-net goal, giving the Oilers five victories over the Predators in the last two years.
In 2000, Hemský moved to North America to play for the Hull Olympiques of the QMJHL.
